The Iowa Wine
Festival is the first event of it’s kind, organized to celebrate Iowa
wines and Iowa wineries. From its launch four years ago, the Iowa Wine
Festival has served only the best Iowa wines, giving Iowans a chance
to recognize the quality product being produced within our state.
Growing from a few hundred visitors in our first year to a several
thousand in 2007, the Iowa Wine Festival has expanded with the wine
industry, steadily increasing both the audience, and the number of
wineries that participate. At the same time, the wine industry has
become a viable economic force in our state. New wineries, wine trails
and wine-related events have resulted in Iowa wines becoming more
prominent and more popular with Iowans and visitors from out of state.
We invite you to be a part of this renaissance in the Iowa wine
industry by helping to sponsor the Iowa Wine Festival. This is an
opportunity to associate with a quality event that has a track record
of drawing a large and diverse audience.
Major sponsors have the opportunity to put their names on our main
stage, to have their logo included on the wine glasses that are
distributed to over 2000 attendees and to be recognized in a variety
of other ways, depending on the level of support. A wide range of
Sponsorship levels provide an opportunity for virtually any business
to support this quality event.

Iowa has
over 600 acres of grapes, more than 275 vineyards and 50 licensed wineries
with Iowans consuming 2.9 million gallons of wine each year. The Iowa Wine
Festival is designed to expose Iowans to the growing variety of wines
produced right here in our own state.
The 2008
Iowa Wine Festival is a one-day event held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday,
August 23, 2008 on the Indianola Town Square.
This
year’s Festival will offer a variety of Iowa grown wines to both sample
and buy, as well as, an assortment of art, food and other exhibits.
The cost
of this year’s event is $8 in advance and $10 at the gate. The first 2,000
guest’s will receive a commemorative 2008 Iowa Wine Festival wine glass
with their gate entry.
Wine
tasting tickets will be available for purchase. This is the forth year for
the event and we continue to be excited at the potential growth and
exposure that this will continue to bring to the Iowa Wine Industry.
As a
sponsor of this year’s festival you can be assured of being listed on the
Iowa Wine Festival website and in other advertising. All sponsorship
levels include admission tickets along with other perks.
Enclosed
you will find a sponsorship registration form along with a breakdown of
